Trash Free Maryland (TFM) is a nonprofit organization that focuses on eliminating litter in Maryland by bringing awareness to the problem, creating clean up events, and implementing policies and programs into law locally and state-wide.

Like many nonprofits, TFM was having difficulty reaching their various audiences. They were in need of a brand that appealed to everyone from supporters and volunteers to stakeholders and decision makers.

Visually our motivation behind this brand was the beauty of Maryland landscapes (without trash, of course). Clean and abstract lines paired with bright colors ties both audiences together into a unified badge icon reminiscent of historical seals. Their website is now easy to navigate and showcase the clean, simple and bright branding.
