Getting started is often the hardest part! In today’s lesson, I’m sharing some tricks to help you kick start your designs!
Before you start any visual exploration. You must first spend time thinking about the audience.
Who will be look at, reading, interacting with this design?
How will it be displayed for them to see/interact with?
Think about age, interests, demographics that could influence your design.
A method of building ideas off of an initial word.
Helps create new paths of ideas!
Can be sloppy and full of spelling errors.
Pull inspiration from all around you! just don’t duplicate or steal.
Look at Pinterest, Behance, or Dribble
Create Moodboard or Stylescape
Check out other art mediums

Quickly get imperfect creative ideas on paper.
Thumbnails A small sketch, typically done in a square, that allows for quick ideas. Try setting a goal to fill a certain number of boxes!
